The event was attended by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). Experts and project leaders were invited to provide detailed and comprehensive overviews, interpretation of the procedures and rules, of the United Nations 2016 annual procurement; representatives of companies that have collaborated with the United Nations procurement system also shared their years of valuable working experience in the business.

The meeting also conducted a field analysis of the forthcoming 2019-2021 Annual Long Term Agreement on Medical Products by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Through this exchange, delegates gained valuable insights to the experience and the ways to establish themselves in the United Nations procurement market.

WAT Medical introduced HeadaTerm, the anti-migraine head patch, and EmeTerm, the anti-emetic wrist band, at the workshop. UN representatives expressed their interests on the devices and appreciated with the values in their innovation and affordability.
